REC Presents Potential of Russian AIC Showroom at CIIE in Shanghai
Russian Export Center presented the potential to enter the Chinese market through products displayed at the AIC Pavilion in Shanghai.

November 6, 2018, Semyon Katrenko representing REC in China presented the Russian AIC showroom for China International Import Expo (CIIE) guests and participants at the REC booth.

The permanent demo and tasting Russian AIC pavilion was opened by REC in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation at the end of 2017.

Currently, it displays samples of 42 AIC brands - confectionery, honey, jam, chocolate, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, flour-based food, tea products, baby food, butter, oil, muesli, ice cream.

Within the Pavilion’s activity, REC both gives an opportunity to display samples and provides marketing support and promotes export products. In particular, the interaction with potential food buyers in China is developing. Representatives of about 200 companies, including major chain stores, electronic platforms, hotels, distribution and service companies, have visited the Pavilion since the showroom opened.

The pavilion operator, East Max Trading (Shanghai) Limited, a part of SKYMAX Group, is also involved. Representatives of the company took part in the presentation too and answered questions from willing exporters.

As a reference, on the sidelines of the CIIE, Russian Export Center together with the SKYMAX Group formalized the agreements reached and signed a number of trilateral agreements with representatives of Sichuan, Hubei and Gansu provinces in order to establish a procurement system for the Russian goods on Tuesday, November 6.
