REC Trading House concept was represented in Vietnam
On April 10, 2018, Russian Export Center (REC) presented the concept of REC Trading House which will open before the end of 2018.

The trading house is a new format of REC's abroad presence. REC trading house concept provides for the establishment of an umbrella structure which will unite all REC abroad infrastructure in Vietnam. This will allow to support Russian exporters in a centralized manner, including the ability to conduct meetings and negotiations with foreign contractors, carry out staff temporary placement during market entry, as well as to present product samples at the site of the existing pavilion.

The presentation was attended by honorary guests such as Alexei Popov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in HCMC; Vo Tan Thanh, President of the HCMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Ekaterina Vintovkina, Deputy Director of the Department of information policy and special projects of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture; Dmitry Aveltsov, Director of Agroexport Analytical Center of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, as well as a number of Russian and Vietnamese companies.

“The establishment of the REC Trading House in Vietnam is very important because it can significantly contribute to the strengthening of trade and economic relations between Russia and Vietnam,” - said Alexei Popov, Consul General of the Russian Federation in HCMC.

In his view, the constant point of presence of Russian business will contribute to the growth of economic, trade and investment connections between Russia and Vietnam. “The trading House will open new opportunities for companies who are willing to enter international markets. In each country, there will be an individual approach to the format of trading house. Depending on the needs, it might be necessary to allocate a larger area where there will be more space for bilateral negotiations," - noted Elizaveta Zinovieva, Director for REC International development.
